Opening in November 1961, Terminal 3 was redeveloped in 2007 and is now the main base of operations for the Virgin Atlantic airport. It handles over 19.8 million passengers each year.

Terminal 4

Situated south of the southern runway, Terminal 4 is connected to the rest of the airport via the Heathrow Cargo Tunnel. Mainly operating flights that reach the Eastern parts of the World, Terminal 4 has undergone a £200m upgrade to accommodate a larger amount of airlines.

Terminal 5

Sitting between the northern and southern runways is the London Heathrow Terminal 5. Opened to the public in March 2008, British Airways have exclusive access to this terminal making it colloquially known as the ‘BA Terminal’. As the terminal is further away from the main building, an underground transit system is used to access it.
